MEDEX Travel Insurance – U.S Citizens/residents Traveling Abroad

In an effort to fulfill all of your Travel/Visitors Insurance needs, Community Insurance Agency, Inc has partnered with MEDEX Insurance Services- A division of UnitedHealthCare Global, a leading provider of international medical insurance and assistance services. With Medex, you can have peace of mind, knowing that if an emergency occurs while you are abroad, you will have access to medical experts and the best treatment facilities in the area.

Most domestic health insurance plans will not pay for treatment received abroad. When they do, they will not pay directly to foreign providers, leaving travelers to pay out-of-pocket expenses for medical treatment. With Medex services, you will not have to worry about who will pay for your treatment. MEDEX offers international medical insurance that functions much like your domestic insurance plan.

In addition to international medical insurance plans, Medex offers comprehensive assistance benefits for everything from lost passports to lost lives. Whether you unexpectedly are delayed on a trip and run out of prescription medication to requiring an emergency medical evacuation, MEDEX will make arrangements to ensure that your health is maintained abroad. Medex has customizable programs for individuals traveling outside the U.S., as well as individuals coming into the U.S. Programs can be purchased for short trips or on an annual basis.
